Head Heart Hara is an eight week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course that offers participants an opportunity to build a strong foundation of mindful self-care. It is the journey from the Head to the Heart, and into the Hara for the embodiment of the truest, most highest Self. Energetically, the Hara is the center of our Being which allows us to fulfill our meaningful life's purpose while being in alignment with our most authentic Self.
MBSR is an evidence-based course that has proven its effectiveness across 1000's of scientific studies, by showing signifiant improvements in an individual's well-being on all levels: the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.
Neuroscience teaches us the incredible elasticity of the brain and the MBSR course has confirmed the brain's capacity to completely transform with a daily Mindfulness practice, in just eight weeks.
With a regular Mindfulness practice, the brain begins to resemble that of an individual who has grown up in an ideal familial environment: one that was full of unconditional love, presence and support. Ultimately, this practice gifts us the opportunity to become our own loving parents; and to rewire and rewrite the deep neurological, emotional and spiritual impacts of negative life experiences and trauma.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn and engage in various Mindfulness practices within a safe and supportive environment. This course also combines teachings and methods from Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy and Internal Family Systems therapy to further support the participants' journey towards mental and emotional health.
